Tech boost for one-stop platform
SHANGHAI is upgrading its one-stop city management platform with digital technologies to help in the fight against COVID-19, predict bad weather and prepare for events such as this year’s China International Import Expo, officials said yesterday.
A management system for traffic from overseas, which has been in use since Saturday to combat the risks and loopholes presented by imported COVID-19 cases, will soon be adopted on the upgraded platform, said Feng Jun, a senior official with the city’s health commission.
Meanwhile, 3D image weather messages have been used on the platform, giving fresh and accurate information to the public security and transportation bureaus.
