Zuk sells in Vietnam

SALES of Zuk, a smartphone sub-brand of Lenovo Group Ltd, started in Vietnam yesterday as Chinese vendors continued to expand in the Asian region that boasts a huge market potential.
The companies are eying opportunities overseas amid a domestic smartphone market facing pressures like slow growth in sales and fierce market competition.
In the second quarter, Chinese smartphone sales fell 10 percent from a year earlier, against a 5 percent global growth and 24 percent jump in the Asia-Pacific region, said research firm GFK.
