Eaton upbeat
EATON Corp said it is confident of achieving its goal of racking up US$1 billion sales in China.
"China is likely to continue to outpace the development in the rest of the world. And we plan to grow our business in the key market through both organic growth and acquisitions," Alexander Cutler, chief executive officer of Eaton, said.
The acquisitions will focus on business opportunities in hydraulic, aerospace and electronics sectors. The company will also do a smaller number of acquisitions in the components and parts used in trucks.
Globally, Eaton expects its business to grow 12 to 14 percent annually over the next five years.
