THE Shanghai United Media Group signed an agreement with the University of Virginia yesterday to cooperate in marketing and media. Qiu Xin, president of SUMG, said the agreement will facilitate the group’s strength in developing its new media sector. Carl Zeithaml, dean of the McIntire School of Commerce under the university, said the agreement can enhance bilateral understanding among young people in both countries.
