THE southern China city of Guangzhou yesterday unveiled temporary restrictions on home purchases to curb excessive price rises, the latest Chinese city to do so.
Guangzhou authorities restricted families with residency status in the city to purchasing no more than one more apartment.
They put the same restriction on families without residency status who have paid personal income tax or made social security contributions for at least one year.
