More land plots to be auctioned

SHANGHAI'S land market is set to be more robust because 27 land parcels, totalling nearly 1.2 million square meters, will be released for sale this month.
These 27 parcels, excluding those meant for public uses, will be auctioned this month, Soufun.com said. The starting price for the 27 parcels exceeds 21.4 billion yuan (US$3.45 billion), the operator of the country's largest real estate website said.
In May 21 parcels were sold for 17 billion yuan, a monthly record for this year so far.
