Nation's Top Sellers

CHINA Vanke Co, Poly Real Estate Group Co and Evergrande Real Estate Group sold the most new houses across the country in the first half of this year, according to a report released yesterday by E-House (China) Holdings Ltd and China Real Estate Appraisal.
Between January and June, Vanke sold 3.05 million square meters of new homes across China, followed by Poly's 2.39 million and Evergrande's 2.38 million square meters.
In terms of sales, Vanke and Poly remained the country's best performing developers, gaining 26.9 billion yuan (US$3.9 billion) and 19.5 billion yuan, respectively, from home sales, followed by China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd's 18.9 billion yuan.
Nationwide, mid-end housing developments proved to be the most popular among home buyers during the first six months.
