AVIATION Industry Corp of China plans to invest 30 billion yuan (US$4.6 billion) in Nanjing through 2015, according to a strategic pact the two sides have signed.
AVIC, the country's largest plane maker, and the Nanjing government will jointly invest in a light aircraft engine base, aviation electro-mechanical project for China's first homemade C919 jet and other civil airplanes.
