AMERICAN Airlines plans to launch daily direct flights between Beijing and Chicago on April 7 next year to increase its frequencies in the Chinese market to better serve the expected increase in demand for flights to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
The new route will offer more options for passengers to fly between China and the United States after its first Chinese route linking Shanghai and Chicago in 2006, as well as enhance the carrier's competitiveness in the Chinese market, it said yesterday.
