Arvato sets up firm

BERTELSMANN announced Thursday its unit Arvato Services (China) has established a logistics service company in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, with two Chinese handset distributors in a bid to expand presence in the logistics market. Arvato holds 51 percent of the joint venture. Shenzhen-based Sinomaster Group and Shenzhen Tianyin Communications Development Co take the balance.
