COSCO sees rise

COSCO Shipping Co, a unit of China's biggest shipping company, said net income last year increased 35 percent to 1.45 billion yuan (US$212 million) from a year earlier, the firm said in a statement to Shanghai Stock Exchange yesterday.
Earnings per share rose to 1.10 yuan from 0.82 yuan a year earlier, it said.
