Carrier Buys 6 B777F Planes
CHINA Southern, the country's largest airline, said yesterday that it would purchase six Boeing B777F cargo planes.
In a statement filed to the Hong Kong stock exchange, China Southern said the catalogue price of each Boeing B777F is US$264 million, but the airline's actual purchasing price is "significantly lower than the catalogue price" because of "certain price concessions granted by Boeing."
But the company didn't disclose specific price concessions offered by the United States plane maker.
