CONTINENTAL Airlines will introduce a direct Shanghai-New York service tomorrow, the first direct flight between the two international financial centers.
Flight CO86 will fly from Shanghai at 3:45pm every day and reach Newark International Airport in New York at 6:20pm same day. The return flight, CO87, leaves Newark International Airport at 11:20am every day and arrives in Shanghai at 1:45pm the next day, according to the Shanghai Evening Post today.
The flight will take about 14.5 hours and Boeing 777-200s will be used.
A flight connecting Shanghai to Cleveland will also be introduced from tomorrow.
