SHANDONG Airlines Co, an affiliate of Air China Ltd, almost doubled gross profit last year after cutting costs and boosting sales.
Gross profit rose to 111 million yuan (US$16 million), said a statement on the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission's Website yesterday. Sales jumped 9.1 percent to 4.9 billion yuan, the carrier said.
