THE research and development center of the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China was founded in Zhangjiang High-tech Park in Shanghai's Pudong New Area yesterday.
Construction of the center, covering 500,000 square meters, will start in July and it will be put into operations in 2012. The center will mainly research and develop homemade jumbo jets and regional aircraft.
