ALIBABA’S logistics arm Cainiao Network seeks to boost a smarter courier industry. Speaking at the Global Smart Logistics Summit in Hangzhou yesterday, Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma urged a unified effort among China’s logistics firms because the country is set to handle a daily average of 1 billion packages in six or seven years. Cainiao also aims to provide smart and tailor-made logistics solutions to 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises.
