CATHAY Pacific Airways Ltd, Hong Kong's largest carrier, won approval to delay construction of a new cargo terminal in the city by two years as global recession damps trade demand.
Cathay Pacific will defer the completion of the new cargo terminal to mid 2013, Airport Authority Hong Kong said in a faxed statement yesterday. The carrier will compensate the airport operator for the delay.
