Brightman show
SARAH Brightman, the world's biggest-selling soprano, is performing in Hangzhou on June 25. The city is the fifth stop in China on the British singer's global tour that began in January. She will play in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanning and Shanghai before her date at Hangzhou Huanglong Stadium.
Brightman, who has sung in many languages, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese, is the first artist to perform twice at the Olympic Games. She sang at the opening of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, then performed "You and Me" with Chinese singer Liu Huan at the 2008 Beijing Olympics to an estimated audience of 4 billion worldwide.
