China-Euro Library alliance

China-Central and Eastern European Countries Library Alliance was launched in Hangzhou recently to push resource sharing, cultural exchange and technological cooperation among libraries in China and CEEC countries.
The aim is to lift the people-to-people exchange, among the countries and regions of Belt and Road Initiative, to a new stage, said Chu Shuqing, the curator of Hangzhou Library, on the launching ceremony.
Initiated by Hangzhou Library, the alliance has so far met positive responses from 36 libraries in 10 countries, including Poland, Macedonia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Estonia, Hungary, Serbia, Latvia, Croatia and Bulgaria.
