Help for sick guard

A residential community in Xiacheng District raised more than 20,000 yuan in donations to help a security guard who had a stroke. He Weiqiang, 55, has been hospitalized since August and one side of his body is paralyzed.
The security guard has worked in Tian’an Holiday Community of 170 households for 11 years and earned the trust of residents with his good service. He sometimes went out of his way to make sure some seniors got to the airport to see their kids in other cities.
Since his wife is retired and his daughter is a college student, his meager income of about 2,000 yuan a month is not enough to pay his medical bills. The community decided to hold a donation drive and received 12,000 yuan on the first day last Friday.
