High-tech talents wanted

IT companies are offering annual salaries of up to 1 million yuan for artificial intelligence (AI) professionals as the competition for talent in the high-tech sector heats up in the city.
The Alibaba Group was behind the scheme at the 2018 Future Science and Technology City Job Fair last Friday. Applicants are required to have a master鈥檚 degree or above in computing, statistics or math majors and in-depth study in deep learning, image recognition, classification, detection and image search.
鈥淚n addition to professionals in AI and block chain, demands for user interface designers, front-end engineers, rear-end engineers and architects have kept growing in Hangzhou in recent years,鈥 said Hong Wenxiang, chairman of Hangzhou Boquma Human Resources Co Ltd. Almost 300 enterprises joined the job fair, offering more than 4,000 positions.
