Investment seminar invites the world to Zhejiang

THE 17th Investment and Trade Seminar Zhejiang China (ITSZ) is to be held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province next month. It will be centered on the “one belt, one road” policy.
The annual event from June 8-12 will be composed of activities including investment, transactions, conferences and forums.
It is hosted by the Zhejiang provincial government.
This year ITSZ will also look at national strategies about promoting the economy in the Yangtze River Delta.
The Zhijiang Summit, one of the highlights of the seminar, will attract representatives from global Fortune 500 companies, leading multinational corporations, chambers of commerce and associations of foreign countries with operations in China. Specialists and scholars will also attend.
Since 1999, ITSZ has grown to be a national exhibition, merging investment, transactions and trade, forums, exhibitions and conferences.
The previous exhibitions have witnessed the signing of 3,655 foreign-invested projects while attracting US$48.34 billion in foreign capital. Total trade turnover was more than US$8 billion.
Some 140,000 people from over 100 countries and areas were lured to participate in previous seminars.
Meanwhile, the 1st China-Central and Eastern European Countries Investment and Trade EXPO and the 14th China International Consumer Goods Fair will be held during the same period.
