HANGZHOU will launch several key urban projects this year, including the construction of Metro Line 4, the city's Party Secretary Huang Kunming said last week.
Other projects include the second phase of Metro Line 2, the construction of Airport Highway and Zhizi Tunnel, and the revamp of Yan'an Road, Xixi Road and Yanjiang Boulevard.
In addition to its transport projects, the city will also build a flood drainage system in Sanbao and a reservoir in Xianlin.
Hangzhou will add 16,500 parking spaces this year, to ease shortages in parts of the city.
The authorities are also creating 7,000 additional beds in nursing homes.
