THE 2015 Zhejiang International Talent Fair opened yesterday in Hangzhou. About 400 foreign professionals and 20 groups of Chinese students from abroad demonstrated projects to potential investors and business partners.
Municipal departments, development zones, high-tech parks, universities, research institutes, investment companies, and businesses from Hangzhou and other cities participate in the talent fair, which ends tomorrow.
About 23,000 foreign professionals and returned Chinese students are now working in Hangzhou. They have set up 1,200 companies.
The city has a good system for talent recruitment, which covers residential permit, housing subsidies, social insurance, education for kids, business registration, patent protection, and financial assistance for start-ups.
