Top award for foreigner

LUCAS Rondez, a Swiss known by his Chinese name Hong Zhiyuan, was voted as one of the Top 10 Young Entrepreneurs in Hangzhou. He is the only foreigner to receive the honor.
A native of Geneva, Switzerland, Rondez started to work at the age of 16 and quit his job in 2007 to seek career development in China. He first joined Hangzhou Bank and later the Ping’an Bank.
In 2015, he founded the Hangzhou Boru Network Technology Co Ltd with an initial investment of 1.5 million yuan. His first phone app “Nihao” was designed to provide comprehensive services for foreigners in China. It now has 130,000 users in over 100 countries.
Boru Network Technology has six expatriates and many Chinese employees. Their office space has expanded from 300 to 2,000 square meters.
