Bureau of commerce ready to roll up its sleeves

AS this year marks the start of the 13th Five-Year Plan, Changning’s bureau of commerce will roll up its sleeves and start working on its new goals.
The district will innovate the services of companies, enhance key trade sectors, transform traditional commerce and develop the fashion industry.
The commerce bureau said Chang-ning will locate more suitable industries within it based on existing strengths. In terms of infrastructure, the district will improve an information platform that reflects the usage efficiency and functions of office buildings.
The bureau will frequent companies that are located in Changning to better connect its administrative support with the actual demands of enterprises.
The bureau will use new digital methods to speed up information exchange between the administrations and the companies, such as the use of WeChat.
Given the large amount of foreign companies in Changning, the district government will frequently hold sessions in which officials from the customs and inspection bureaus are invited to give instructions on how to improve trade services.
These sessions are expected to provide more precise and professional services for companies, and at the same time, upgrade the administrative level of inspection.
Changning will continue to integrate trade and industrial development, be it through promoting cross-border e-commerce or Internet Plus services. This will in turn improve the quality of Changning’s business environment for international companies.
The emerging Hongqiao business area will receive increasing support from the government.
The commerce bureau will encourage the companies to abandon worn-out industries and adapt to new market trends.
At the same time, the bureau wants new digital tools, such as phone Apps, to boost the services and business categories of its enterprises.
