Centers set up for students during holiday

Since 2012, Changning has opened 16 children’s centers in schools that cover every neighborhood community.

This year, these centers will accept children and teenagers during the holiday. They will offer a diverse selection of programs, classes and workshops.

Kaiyuan School in Huayang Community is offering courses that range from making models to baking pastries. Students can also learn video making and editing, photo processing, calligraphy and many other things.

Hami Road Primary School has set up art, science, sport and health workshops for students. It also conducts classes in music, yoga, reading among other things.

Fudan Primary School in Xinhua Community has designated three activity sections Ñ reading, sports and crafts. It is open to students in July and August.

In addition, day care service is also available in 10 neighborhoods from July 6 to August 31. More than 600 students have already signed up for the service.
