New document center in Linkong

AT the Shanghai Hongqiao One-Stop Service Center of Overseas Talents, located in the Linkong Industrial Park, self-service terminals have been installed to enable expats in the area to apply for work permits, foreign expert certificates and residence permits.

Foreigners who live or work nearby previously had to go to Gubei or Pudong to obtain these documents.

The center is located at 999 Jinzhong Road, Building A.

Mainland residents may also apply for their passports, Hong Kong-Macau laissez-passer and passes for mainland residents to go to Taiwan at the center.

The center also offers Chinese residents reissuance, replacement and filling services.

At the same time, Chinese migrants who work in Linkong or neighboring areas can check their residential permit points at self-service terminals in the center.

Those who have accumulated enough residential permit points may apply for a Shanghai hukou at the center. Authentication of diplomas for migrants is available here, too.

Linkong Economic Zone is at the west end of Changning District, adjacent to Hongqiao traffic hub. More than 2,000 enterprises are registered in the 5.14 square-kilometer area, including more than 300 headquarter enterprises of various industries and 10 Forbes Global 500 enterprises.

Changning is home to 210,000 people from 119 countries and regions.
