On new app, residents can book services of top real estate groups
A mobile phone app now allows people in Changning, Putuo and Pudong New Area to access services like an ambulance, activities for community groups, delivery of vegetables and fruits or home repairs.
Major property management groups have made joint efforts to launch an online platform for residents seeking their services.
Pudong Real Estate Group, Shanghai West Enterprise (Group) Co and Shanghai New Changning (Group) Co established a community service union “Smart Neighbor 365.”
More property management companies are expected to join the union.
A user may download the app of each of the three groups or the official app “Shanghai Property Management” to enjoy services from any of the three.
What they provide is mainly a combination of home repairs, maintenance and butler service.
The three groups are state-owned enterprises. Their clients are mainly residents of old residential quarters. “The three groups hope to provide people a number of quality services and products,” said Zhou Hongwei, vice chairman of Shanghai Property Management Association.
The services include home repairs, legal consultancy, bill payment, check delivery, air-con cleaning, termite control, interior decoration, housekeeping and community nursing services.
