HUANG Bin entered Zuiko (Shanghai) Corporation at the end of 2003 as an ordinary electrician. In 2004 Huang started to work as an electrical designer.
In 2011, he gained his senior technician certificate. Later, he became leader of the company's production safety and equipment management. Since he took the job, his technical team has solved 238 technical problems, creating large profits for the company. Now he is the chief mechanic of Zuiko, and was honored as "Shanghai's Chief Mechanic" and "Shanghai Technical Expert" last year.
Zuiko is a sanitary equipment maker, and a laser cutting machine is part of their major production equipment. In the past, the optical components of laser cutting machines were often polluted during the cutting process, which led to a lot of defects on products. It became a tough problem for the company how to clean and maintain those optical parts because asking equipment producers to carry out repairs led to delays and was expensive. Huang has solved the problem and many others in the using of the laser cutting machines.
Another of Huang's special skills is to trace equipment faults quickly. During production, many faults are actually caused by just a small part, but the technician has to be very skillful to find it quickly. With design drawings of most major equipment fixed in his mind, Huang can identify the faulty part in a very short time.
