Get ready for the grape taste of summer dumplings!

SUMMER is on its way and many families will be going fruit and vegetable picking at weekends. Shanghai Malu Grapes Theme Park in Jiading is now open to the public. Although it will be a while until the grapes ripen, the park is still a great place to pick vegetables.
The park grows a wide range of vegetables, including lettuce, green beans, leeks, potatoes, cabbages and cucumbers. At the moment, potatoes are ready for picking, an activity especially enjoyed by children. Tomatoes, however, are not yet ready.
If your little ones love animals, the park is for you. It has raised many animals including rabbits, sheep and chickens for children to feed.
You can lunch on dumpling during your visit and, once the grapes are ripe enough to pick, the park will be selling fresh grape juice and dumplings made with flour mixed with grape juice. Can’t wait to have a try?

Model Commercial Vehicles Showroom
There are a few places of interest for you to tour around after a fruit and vegetable picking trip.
You will find the Model Commercial Vehicle Showroom in a traditional Chinese garden. The showroom exhibits hundreds of Chinese and foreign vehicle models. You can also learn about the history of commercial vehicles in China.

Jiayuanhai Art Center
To the east of the grape park, Jiayuanhai Art center displays a number of art pieces and handicraft works.
