Jiading New Town tries to make best use of land in urbanization

JIADING New Town has made significant development in urbanization and making the best use of land.
Li Jian, president of Jiading New Town Development Co Ltd, said the developers must have their blue prints approved before they get the land.
If the developer violates any terms of the blue print, they will be punished.
This land development pattern has been widely adopted in Jiading New Town, so as to ensure the order of construction.
The construction of Traditional Chinese Medicine Zone in Jiading New Town has just kicked off, the first phase of it is set to be completed by the year end. The project includes Fengzechi Herbal Garden and Jianfu Courtyard.
"We want to create harmonious development between industrial and residential areas," Li said.
Jiading New Town completed construction of five cultural projects last year, including a high school, a library and a museum.
Jiading New Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital and Shanghai Ruijin Hospital North Branch have already opened.
Poly Theater with around 2,000 seats will be completed by the year end. The construction of nine projects, including schools and community centers, will begin soon.
Jiading New Town also signed letters of intent with several leading companies last year to develop four areas to attract company headquarters in the fields of equity transaction, gold trade, finance valley and luxury products.
