New projects will change the face of Jiading

JIADING District is now busy in building more upscale hotels for the top-end guests, more commercial complexes close to the communities for the locals and convenient facilities at the Metro stations for the public.
According to Jiading's 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), 11 new upscale hotels, including eight five-star properties will open within three years.
As the first five-star hotel in the district, 415-room Crowne Plaza Shanghai Anting Golf will receive its first batch of guests this July.
Having held the roof-sealing ceremony recently, the hotel is now undergoing final preparations.
Another five-star hotel, Sheraton Jiading is also under construction. It will have its roof structure sealed in September and open to the public at the end of next year.
"Jiatinghui City Plaza," a business center near Anting Station of Metro Line 11, will open on May 1. With an area of 52,000 square meters, it has attracted 150 tenants to open up various stores. Besides, it also has a supermarket, a cinema and even a sports field.
A commercial complex near Jiading North Station of Metro Line 11 is also scheduled for completion next year. The complex will include shopping and dining places for 50,000 commuters every day.
Local communities have also benefited from the district's service upgrade.
