Wall decorated in Jinshan style

A two-kilometer-long wall in suburban Jinshan District is being decorated with a bold folk art-inspired mural.
The mural is being done in traditional Jinshan Farmer-style, a distinctive style of painting which originated in the area. Work on the mural is scheduled for completion at the end of the month.
It will feature a series of images depicting traditional scenes, like the autumn harvest, spring sowing, summer fishing and a winter family get-together.
The mural is being created by students from Shanghai University’s College of Fine Arts, under the direction of local artists Zhao Yifu and Lu Yongzhong.
