Campaign for office rubbish
Minhang's first collectable trash station for office rubbish was recently set up in the Ludi Lanhai plaza.
The office trash campaign was launched by Greener Shanghai Action (GSA), an environmental protection group set up by the city's college students.
The station is in the first floor lobby of the plaza's building A. On the first and third Friday of each month, students will collect the used paper, beverage bottles, batteries and other trash.
Each office clerk who contributes is eligible for a green account.
With the credits they earn on the account, clerks can get small gifts in return, such as notebooks, pens and portable fans.
