Education beyond the usual ABCs
MINHANG High School, in conjunction with Scots College, one of Australia's oldest schools for boys, will be offering a series of courses such as drama and wilderness survival training to help improve the mental and physical acuity of students.
"Excellent personality, leadership, service awareness and an international perspective are essential to a boy's future," said Yu Anmin, headmaster of Minhang High School. "By introducing teaching materials and hosting teachers from Scots College, we hope to help our boys mature into real, honorable men by graduation."
For girls, high school is also offering special courses, including etiquette, in conjunction with Kincoppal - Rose Bay, a private school predominantly for girls in Australia.
