Free bike service extends to Pujiang
THE free bicycle rental service has been extended into Pujiang, a remote town in Minhang District.
Locals can enjoy the service from 7am to 10pm every day. All that is needed is a registered card with their ID information.
A total of 12 bike stations with more than 500 bicycles have been set up in the town, mainly in the big communities and shopping centers to facilitate the transport of local residents.
In the next phase, four more bike stations will be built in parking areas along Metro Line 8, adding over 1,000 free bicycles.
Minhang is one of the city's earliest districts to offer free bike rental service since March. Commuters can use them for free to make short trips in and around the district.
