A NEW seniors' home in Xinzhuang Town with capacity for 400 people opened recently. There are already 50 on the first roll call.

The facility offers a service to seniors who cannot take care of themselves. People over 70 years old and lived in Xinzhuang Town for five years or above have priority.

The seniors' home includes a floor-heating system in the public bathroom and professional medical equipment and medical workers.

Also, there is a variety of entertainment facilities, such as painting room, poker and chess room, and a small theater to enrich the old people's lives.

The seniors' home covers an area of 15,061 square meters and is situated at the east of Xinxi Road and to the north of Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway.
