THE Shanghai Steam Turbine Factory belongs to the golden age of heavy industry in Minhang District, dating back six decades.
Here, again, old meets new.
The plain, somewhat old workshops remind us of the vital role played by steam turbines in industrial development.
Inside the workshops are modern assembly lines with the latest technology.
