Rehabilitating villages

Jiuxing City, a pilot project for rehabilitating urban villages in Minhang, is nearing completion. The location will become a new business complex after being the city’s largest building and decorative materials market. The main structure is complete, while the Xingdong, Xingzhong and Jiuxing roads are under development. The commercial buildings and pathways around the site are nearly finished.
1 million square meters of floor space is planned, with six to eight above-ground stories and three underground levels. The development will provide a full range of leisure, retail and community activities.
