Small software company wins big global award

COOTECK, a small mobile software developer in Zizhu Science Park, has been honored for producing the world's most innovative wireless device at a major global convention in Barcelona, Spain.
The champion, Cooteck TouchPal, is an innovative software keyboard powered by T+input technology that significantly improves the input on touch-screen handheld devices.
It can store multiple languages without language switch, form a new word by combining two existing words, "flow" the keyboard by sliding left or right and perform many other functions.
Cooteck was one of more than 450 companies attending the Mobile World Congress, the leading event for the mobile communications industry. Participants last month covered Internet, finance, advertising, music, television and gaming.
Cooteck was honored as the 2009 Mobile Innovation Global Award Champion for the "most innovative wireless device-centric technology" at the 14th Annual Global Mobile Awards.
Cooteck also has won financial support from the Youth Business China foundation and the Minhang Science and Technology Foundation.
