Urban patrol on lookout for bad behavior
With World Expo 2010 Shanghai approaching, Minhang recently set up its urban patrol team.
The team is made up of district volunteers from all walks of life, including teachers, office workers and college students.
The team will patrol the streets during weekends to stop public misdemeanors such as spitting, traffic line jumping and jaywalking, among others.
Members will have the right to pass a score for each town and neighborhood as well as some public service centers at the end of year. The top three will be awarded.
