Shanghai Rayshine owes its success to Huaxin Town
A long-standing Huaxin Town business has been involved in the daily chemical industry for over two decades.
Shanghai Rayshine Envi-Tech Development Co Ltd produces ammonium persulfate, a kind of bleaching agent, and anti-mildew tablets, which rank among the top 3 in sales of similar products nationwide.
In 2024, the sales revenue of the company increased by 47.6 percent compared to 2023.
The firm was established in October 2001 and is located in the Huaxin Town Industrial Park in Qingpu District. It is a large-scale enterprise integrating production, sales and both import and export.
“We are the third-largest production base after the production bases in Beijing and Dalian, and we have five automated production lines, mainly producing daily chemical products such as anti-mildew tablets, washing machine tank cleaners, ammonium persulfate, pipe dredge agents and dehumidifiers,” said Wang Xiaoyue, the company’s general manager.
Excellent products are inseparable from technical support. The company has obtained two national invention patents for air-conditioner mildew-proof disinfectants and antibacterial cleaners for washing machine tanks.
The company’s success is closely linked with Huaxin’s advantages.
In Wang’s view, Huaxin’s prominent location advantages and developed transportation network are particularly suitable for the development of industries such as logistics, e-commerce and intelligent manufacturing.
“We are promoting the full automation transformation of equipment, carrying out technical transformation projects for the launch of some new products, and also planning to expand production capacity in Huaxin,” Wang added.
