Zhujiajiao launches green campaign

Zhujiajiao Town in Qingpu District has launched a comprehensive environmental improvement campaign to strengthen the “visual appeal” of the ancient town and revitalize its vitality.
In the main renovation area, the Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area, separating rainwater from sewage and revitalizing the water system has increased the water clarity of Xijing River and its smaller streams from less than 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters, creating a beautiful ecological scene.
The renovated entrance has taken on a new look. The bamboo-lined path with plants and stone landscapes on both sides of the road forms an exquisite scene. The entrance pavilion has been rebuilt in traditional Chinese style with black tiles and upturned eaves.
The parking lot at the tourist center has undergone a comprehensive renovation, with flattened and reinforced ground and optimized functions that provide safe and convenient parking services for tourists.
The large open lawn around Ginkgo Tree Square, with leisure benches and night scene lighting, has become an “urban living room” where residents walk, rest, and play.
