This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淢ountain and Sea: A Jungle Story,鈥 celebrates the 30th edition of the fair. It offers a fusion of traditional Chinese culture and modern artistic expression. Centered on the zodiac, this year鈥檚 fair also incorporates elements of forests, insects, butterflies, flowers, as well as spirits and mythical creatures, to create a scene of harmonious coexistence.
The 鈥淎uspicious Serpent Welcomes the New Year鈥 lantern display at the central plaza is the highlight, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune for the New Year. Plus, the lantern fair features a special 鈥淏eyond Lanterns 鈥 30 Years of the Yuyuan Lantern Fair and Chinese Lantern Art鈥 exhibition, showcasing 13 precious ancient lantern artifacts from the Jinshan Museum.
