The plan commits Shanghai to creating a stellar urban area of innovation, eco-friendliness and humanism. It envisions a city at the vanguard of business opportunities and new commercial models. It also seeks to develop Shanghai’s cultural uniqueness and create an ambient lifestyle for all residents to enjoy.
