Award-winning designs provide exhibit of pure Joy
THIS spring, you can have a close look at more than 300 award-winning designs from the Red Dot Design Award. Exhibit “A Preview of The Future” is at Jing’an Joy City through June.
There are 61 original pieces, 266 pictures and 14 multi-media works from 55 countries.
Since 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the most important of its kind.
The main exhibition is supplemented by an interactive area, gift shop, mini summit and kids workshop.
The main area is full of high-tech exhibits, immersing visitors in creativity and innovation.
You can explore the Gokart Kit from China, Frend (a foldable wheelbarrow) from Hungary, Grit (resistance training shoes) and Rolley Scooterson (an intelligent electric kick-scooter) from US, Manovivo (wearable smart gloves for people with rheumatoid arthritis) from South Korea, Etnisk (a package of food storage containers) from Spain, MOTOROiD from Japan, AP 360 (an electrical installation system) from Germany, and Widex (a battery-free hearing aid) from Denmark.
As one of the most popular exhibits, the Ninebot Gokart Kit converts an ordinary Segway into a racing gokart. It is fully equipped with precision control and an adjustable chassis.
The Grit replicates the experience of training on soft sand, no matter where an athlete is.
The sole of the shoe mimics sand training scenario and tires out the leg muscles more quickly.
The shoes aim to increase the amount of energy required to train, build leg strength and reduce post-workout soreness. This provides athletes with intense but effective training in a short time.
Date: Through June 30, 10am-9:30pm
