PEKING Opera artists Yang Shao-peng, Dou Xiaoxuan and Chang Qiuyue will celebrate the New Year tonight with local fans with a six-hour Peking Opera performance featuring classic excerpts of “Broken Bridge” and “Meeting in the Mulberry Garden.” It is the first time for Shanghai Grand Theater to stage a performance over the midnight.
