Digital installations inspired by nature
Through February 16, 14 immersive installations created by Japanese art collective Naked are transforming the Shanghai World Financial Center into a vertical museum of the sea, where ocean creatures swim over the city鈥檚 neon-lit skyline.
The fantasy show 鈥淥cean by Naked鈥 is specially designed for Shanghai. Each digital art experience is inspired by nature and intrinsically interwoven with the environment, magnifying the shapes, characteristics and fundamental facets of the deep sea adventure.
The exhibition covers nearly 2,000 square meters of the 4th and 94th floors of the center. Visitors can wake up the luminescent jellyfish, swim in a sardine run and dive to 6,500 meters to roam among mysterious creatures.
鈥淚 hope visitors can feel the mystery of sea and the beauty of life,鈥 said visual artist Ryotaro Muramatsu.
