Exhibition brings Daodao the dog to life

THE cartoon dog Daodao, widely known as Knife, has been popular among netizens for a few years. Created by Murong Yindao, the comic books feature a canine with lovely eyes and a poet's temperament who loves thinking about life and philosophy.

A special exhibition titled "Love Lights Me Up" chronicles the history of Daodao. More than 30 comic sketches, posters, art installments and some of his famous lines are on display to show how the cute pooch has evolved.

Murong will be available for face-to-face talks with fans and share some special insight into his creation.

Also during the exhibition, famous female writer Lu Qi will give lectures on love tips. A series of speed-dating events will be held for singles.
